Pittsburgh Summer Classic Basketball Tournament: Friday to Sunday, July 9 to 11 in Pittsburgh, PA
Open to Boys Team ages 8U to 17U/Open and Girls Teams ages 8U to 17U.
Hoop Mountain PA will host “Free Agent” Teams for Boys entering 8th through 12th Grade and Post Graduates.
Our 2010 Camp Locations:
Slippery Rock University – 1 Morrow Way, Slippery Rock, PA 16057 – Slippery Rock University features two fantastic basketball facilities with 9 Indoor courts. All Campers stay in Slippery Rock’s brand new state-of-the-art dormitories and eat in their top-rated cafeteria. During free time, swimming will be offered.
Family First Sports Park – 8155 Oliver Road, Erie, PA 16509 – Family First Sports Park features a beautiful facility with 4 full-size wood courts. During free time, campers may go to the Fun Center, which features Go Karts, Bumper Boats, Mini Golf, a Driving Range and many other fun activities. A dorm with cafeteria is located feet from the basketball facility.
Kiski School – 1888 Brett Lane, Saltsburg, PA 15681 – Kiski School features a 350 acre campus with 3 Gymnasiums and is a highly rated Boys Boarding School. Kiski plays host to a number of Recruiting Showcases and the Pittsburgh Summer Classic Basketball Tournament.
Robert Morris University – 6001 University Blvd, Moon Township, PA 15108 – BSA will offer 1 session of Day Camp This Summer at Robert Morris University. RMU features the John Jay Gymnasium, Sewall Center as well as many beautiful outdoor courts.
North Allegheny High School – 10375 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090 – BSA will offer 1 session of Day Camp at North Allegheny High School this summer. NA features 3 full size wood courts. Note that the NA Day Camp runs from 11 am to 5 pm each day.
Hempfield Athletic Complex – 220 Forbes Trail Road, Greensburg, PA 15601 – BSA will offer 3 sessions of Day Camp at this beautiful facility, which offers 3 full-size courts as well as a lounge and full snack bar.
Hillcrest Christian Academy – 2500 Bethel Church Road, Bethel Park, PA 15102 – BSA will offer 3 sessions of Day Camp at Hillcrest, which boasts 2 gymnasiums including a new, large main floor.
Monroeville Sports Center – 855 Macbeth Drive, Monroeville, PA 15146 – BSA will offer 3 sessions of Day Camp at the Monroeville Sports Center, which includes 2 full-size basketball courts.
Camp Information:
Super Weeks include Daily Instructional Stations, Competitive Games, Competitions and Extra Work Opportunities. College Coaches and Scouts are often in attendance at these camps. Check In is between 2 pm and 4 pm on the first day and Check Out is at Noon on the final day.
Specialty Weeks features Point Guard Academy, Shooting & Scoring Academy and Post Player Academy. Check In is between 2 pm and 4 pm on the first day and Check Out is at Noon on the final day.
Recruiting Showcases are 1 Day Events, which feature Skill Work by College Position, Recruiting Seminars and Skill Testing and Exposure Games. Many College Coaches and Scouts attend these events. Check in is between 2 pm and 3 pm and the Showcases run until 8 pm.
Day Camps feature Daily Instructional Stations, Competitive Games, Competitions and Extra Work Opportunities for all levels of players. Day Camps run from 9:30 am to 3 pm each day. **The North Allegheny Day Camp runs from 11 am to 5 pm each day.

BSA Day Camps: Boys and Girls entering 1st through 12th Grade and Post Graduates
Cost:
4 Day Overnight Camps: $400 if paid in full by June 10, 2010, $450 if paid after
3 Day Overnight Camps: $300 if paid in full by June 10, 2010, $350 if paid after
Recruiting Showcases: $125 if paid in full by June 10, 2010, $150 if paid after
Day Camps: $175 if paid in full by June 10, 2010, $200 if paid after
Summer Classic Tournament Team Fee: $275 per team
Summer Classic Tournament “Free Agent” Player Fee: $300 if paid in full by June 1, 2010, $350 if paid after (includes housing and meals). Commuter Fee: $100 if paid in full by June 1, 2010, $150 if paid after (housing and meals not included)
Family & Multi-Session Discounts:
If 2 players from the same family do camps or one player does multiple sessions, a $25 off per camp discount is offered. Does not apply to Tournament. Use the Discount Code “BSAFAM25.” This must be done when registering.
BSA/Hoop Mountain Loyalty Discount:
Any players who took part in the Basketball Stars of America 2009 Fall Program, 2009-2010 Winter Program, 2010 Spring AAU Program or 2010 Spring AAU Tournaments or attended a 2009 BSA Day Camp or 2009 Hoop Mountain Overnight Camp last summer, may use the Discount Code “BSA201050” to receive $50 off any Overnight Camp Session or the Discount Code “BSA201025” to receive $25 off any Day Camp Session. This must be done when registering.

Waiver: I understand that I am enrolling my child in the Hoop Mountain PA & Basketball Stars of America Basketball Camps, Recruiting Showcases & Tournaments and that Hoop Mountain PA, BSA, Coach Daryn Freedman and any facilities that are used or any coaches will not be liable for any injuries incurred during participation in the program. I also understand that there are no refunds! If a player is injured and can’t continue, he or she will receive a prorated credit towards another Hoop Mountain PA/BSA program. The applicant is in good health and able to participate in the physical activity of a vigorous program. The camp has my permission to provide emergency medical care in the event my son is injured or ill.
